Good to the last square.

Whether you unroll it in the overhand (correct) or underhand (crazy) fashion, toilet paper is your best friend when you make a visit to the smallest room in the house. Don’t believe me? How upset do you get when you realize it’s not there?
For years, your best friend in the bathroom has come with a hidden inefficiency: that little cardboard tube that holds the whole thing together. It’s dense paperboard, and though it’s a waste of trees, it has been seen as a necessary evil. I haven’t had a hamster in 20 years, so ‘re-use’ just wasn’t an option for me.
Now, Scott paper company will release a tube-free variety of its TP, claiming some new innovation in winding technology. If sales go well, they’ll apparently be releasing tube-free versions of their paper towels as well.
Science: coming to a bathroom near you.
The only downside of this change is that the rich and exciting world of toilet paper tube dioramas will come to an end. See – environmentalism is bad for job creation. You heard it here first.
